Our Return Philosophy
At Scryxellchron, we take great pride in the quality of our custom blinds and curtains. We understand that purchasing window coverings is an important decision for your home, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, our return procedures differ from standard retail policies. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Custom-Made Products
All blinds and curtains manufactured by Scryxellchron are custom-made according to the measurements and specifications you provide. Due to the personalized nature of these products, we generally cannot accept returns for:
- Products made to your exact specifications that are free from manufacturing defects
- Products where the measurements provided by the customer do not fit the intended windows
- Color or fabric choices that differ from your expectations due to monitor display variations
- Products that have been installed, altered, or damaged after delivery
We strongly recommend ordering fabric samples before placing a full order and double-checking all measurements. Our team is available to assist with measuring guidance to ensure a proper fit.
Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective or was damaged during shipping, we will gladly replace it or issue a full refund. To qualify for a replacement or refund:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order
- Provide clear photographs showing the defect or damage
- Include your order number and description of the issue
- Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved
Manufacturing Defects
We consider the following to be manufacturing defects:
- Incorrect dimensions that do not match the specifications on your order
- Fabric tears, holes, or stains present at delivery
- Stitching or hemming that is coming undone
- Hardware components that are broken or non-functional
- Color or pattern that significantly differs from the ordered sample
- Motorized components that do not operate correctly
Shipping Damage
If your package arrives with visible damage, please:
- Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
- Take photographs of the damaged packaging before opening
- Document the condition of the contents immediately upon opening
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with all documentation
Stock Items and Samples
For non-custom, ready-made stock items (if available) and fabric samples, we offer a more flexible return policy:
- Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase
- Products must be in original, unused condition with all tags attached
- Original packaging must be intact and included
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective
Return Process
To initiate a return or report a defective product, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Contact our customer service team via phone or email with your order number
- Step 2: Describe the issue and provide photographs as requested
- Step 3: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- Step 4: If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Step 5: Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside
- Step 6: Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team
Please do not send any returns without first obtaining an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned at your expense.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the status of your refund:
- Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Credit card refunds may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use or installation
- Items not in their original condition or missing components
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery for defect claims
Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, direct exchanges are not typically available. If you need a different size, color, or style, we recommend:
- Returning the eligible item following our return process
- Placing a new order with the correct specifications
- Contacting our team for assistance with your new order
Cancellations
Order cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:
- Within 24 hours: Full refund with no cancellation fee
- 24-72 hours: Full refund minus a 10% processing fee
- After 72 hours: Cancellation may not be possible if production has begun
Once a custom product enters production, cancellation is generally not possible. Please review your order carefully before submission.
Warranty Claims vs. Returns
Please note that this Return Policy is separate from our Product Warranty. If you experience issues with your product after the return window has closed, please refer to our Warranty Information page for coverage details and claim procedures.
International Orders
For international orders, additional considerations apply:
- Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and duties
- Refunds do not include original international shipping charges
- Processing times may be extended due to shipping transit times
- Products must be returned in compliance with all export regulations
